EER is dedicated to the development of a plasma based thermal treatment for environmentally friendly disposal of waste materials.

EER is in an Israeli registered company controlled by the SF Group which holds 40% of EER on a fully diluted bases. The remaining 60% is held by Israeli and foreign investors.

EER is headed by Honorary Chairman Evgeny P. Velikhov, member of Russian Academy of Sciences and Itschak Shrem, who is also Chairman of SF Group (the controlling shareholder of EER).

One of the main problems of  Waste Management is the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), which along with Low and Intermediate Level Radioactive Waste (LILRW) and Biomedical Waste (MW), is the present focus of EER’s activity.
